The Avengers' Nighthawk is from Earth-616...technically. Created as a group of constructs by Mephisto and his pawn Phil Coulson, the Squadron Supreme of America were deliberately extreme patriots at a time when the Avengers were looking at a more global scale. The new Heroes Reborn event altered reality so the Avengers never formed and the Squadron Supreme were Earth's Mightiest Fascists. When reality was restored, this Nighthawk continued to identify with his memories of Earth-21798. He joined the Avengers because even he knew Mephisto must be stopped, but in the long run his preference of reality and views on justice may put him at odds with his former teammates again.
