We conclude our Alpha Flight week with a very special update. This character was a supporting cast member of the second series of Alpha Flight in the late 1990s, but has ties to the X-Men dating back to the final issues of the original X-Men series, and would later become a member of the classic All-New, All-Different X-Men in Giant-Size X-Men #1. This year marks the 50th anniversary of that issue and team and, while his time with Apha Flight proved fraught, he eventually found a purpose as a member of Krakoa's X-Men team. With his new teammates, he proved himself to be a brave and true hero several times, one absolutely worthy of being an X-Man (and almost a member of Alpha Flight!).
