After a taste of the X-Men for April Fools, this week we move into a celebration of MightyAvengers.Net for its seven year anniversary! We begin with a new Spotlight on one of the most powerful Avengers of all time, CAPTAIN UNIVERSE! More a concept than a single hero, the Uni-Power is a manifestation of the Enigma Force which bestows great power on a host, usually with a specific mission in mind. Many beings have wielded the Uni-Power over the years, from Spider-Man to Juggernaut, but it was through coma patient Tamara Devaux that the Enigma Force chose to join the Avengers Machine. At the dawn of the Incursion crisis, the Universe was broken and its avatar waited out the end of all that is at the crux point where Everything Dies. And yet, the Cosmos was reborn, and the Enigma Force remains a potential ally to the forces of life and light.

I loved the cosmic Spiderman story as a kid. I tried to re-read it a few years ago and it was pretty “meh.”
