Born of the X-Men first dystopian future, Days of Future Past, Ahab remained a threat to the past and present while outside of time itself. He saw the presence of the Original Five X-Men in their future as a perfect opportunity to devastate the timeline in favor of humanity, killing the X-Men's greatest members before they properly came of age. His failed campaign led him to seek sanctuary in Transia, but the bitter and racist cyborg was hunted down by Cable and X-Force, and seemingly destroyed for good.
