An evil version of the Fantastic Four, the U-Foes deliberately irradiated themselves with cosmic rays in an effort to gain powers. Since then, they have become a reoccurring menace fighting super-heroes from one end of the country to the other. Often "foes" of the incredible Hulk, they have also battled the Avengers on both coasts, fought more than one Spider-Man, joined the Initiative under Norman Osborn, and worked with the Hood's gang or several versions of the Masters of Evil. Rarely apart and rarely successful, the U-Foes are still a dangerous threat whenever encountered.
