The Hood's organization is one of the largest and most successful super-villain trade unions in Marvel history, exceeding versions of the Masters of Evil and Serpent Society for effectiveness. The relatively unknown Parker Robbins used his business sense and magical connections to organize super-criminals, ensure their freedom after capture, and provide a fair share of all earnings. The Hood's gang thrived in the period where different Avengers teams fought each other over the Registration Act, and he later made an alliance with Norman Osborn during his Dark Reign. The Hood and his crew were dismantled after the Siege of Asgard and have only reformed temporarily in the years since, failing to recapture that original magic.
