Marvel Comics tied her to the worship of the Elder Gods, a priestess of Gaea later corrupted by Chthon when she bound the first modern version of the Darkhold tome. Having reincarnated herself time and again throughout history, Morgan has been the nemesis of Jessica Drew, spurned lover of Doctor Doom, and rival ruler for the mutant protectorate of Avalon. Recently purged of her corruption and reunited with Mother Gaea, Morgana is perhaps less likely to threaten Britain in the future, but her power and fury when wronged should never be taken lightly.
