Oy, it's Marvel UK Month now, innit? The spotlight has often been cast on two of the Braddock siblings, the twins Brian and Betsy - but what of the third Braddock child, their elder brother, Jamie? Perennially reckless and in constant pursuit of thrills, he originally satisfied his appetite for adventure as a race driver before turning to a world of crime. A traumatic experience catalyzed his Omega-Level mutant powers and fractured his mind, turning him into a formidable villain. Several attempts at rehabilitating this mentally unhinged reality warper have met with failure - but, at the end of the day, he still holds a special place among the Braddock family. This is the saga of Monarch a.k.a. Jamie Braddock.

Re: JAMIE BRADDOCK Spotlight -- Marvel UK Month Begins!
Never knew Jamie was Harrow born...
Interestingly, checking the issue summary referenced, Harrow wasn't actually a London borough at the stated year of Jamie's birth / first appearance in records (it was part of Middlesex until the mid sixties and a County still- admittedly incorrectly - used in postal addresses some 60 years later...)...
Whether the floating time line means hard dates (such as Brian and Betsy's stated birthday in the 50s and Jamie's first appearance in records in the late 40s) is still canonical or assumed to have to be incorrect as neither of the twins look to be nearly 70 (!) - means this is an error or not is up to yous I guess
