This noted doctor became frozen deep beneath the Arctic ice, neither dead nor alive, he remained trapped in suspended animation for over a century. When a vengeful member of Alpha Flight sought to humiliate another, Canada's Premiere Super-Heroes found themselves lured to the Arctic, where the now hateful doctor was freed from the ice and could command the forces of decay.
