Update on...BELASCO

[Monolith]

To conclude our Magic Month, we revisit a villain for the first time in TWENTY. YEARS. By far the oldest Character Article on the site needing updating, Belasco is one of the classic "Bring on the Bad Guys" articles we've converted to the traditional Spotlight format. And, in all that time, Dante's great antagonist has accomplished very little. After a showy return torturing the Academy X students, Belasco's siege of Limbo only succeeded in instigating the return of his greatest success and failure, Illyana Rasputin. Since then, he has lurked on the outskirts of Limbo, seeking to recreate his past notoriety. Instead, forces like Illyana, Madelyne Pryor, and even S'ym stand higher on Limbo's hierarchy than the Elder God's greatest remaining pawn.
