The Sub-Mariner recently received an update on this site, but the conclusion of his story arc in Aaron's run deserved a true ending. Having failed to make the surface world heel to the Prince of Atlantis, Namor was denounced as a ruler by his own people before Atlantis was saved by the same Avengers he had been fighting. A humbled Namor finally remembered his honor and nobility, and swore his service to the Avengers until his penance was deemed complete. After the defeat of Mephisto and the Multiversal Masters, the Sub-Mariner honored his oath to the Avengers and submitted to custody for the crimes committed against the surface world.
