Just a few months after the New Exiles series ended, the Exiles were back! All-new, all-different! Who was this mysterious new team? And what happened to the original Exiles? Wait, Morph is the Timebroker? Is that our Blink or a new Blink? Find out the answers to this and many other questions in our article on... Exiles II!
Why not contribute to one of our sites? The pay is non existent, but vacation allowance is fantastic!
I really enjoyed this series and was peeved that it was so short. It felt like Exiles were back on track and then ended right as it was picking up steam.
Books to be excited for:
Immortal X-men, X-men Red, She-Hulk, The Fall of X
I remember initially being frustrated when the series was announced that they appeared to be largely using very familiar versions of characters we knew, instead of taking the opportunity to create some exciting new versions (a male Polaris, a fully robotic Forge, as random examples). Despite those initial misgivings the series won me over pretty quickly.
Also what ever happened to Jeff Parker? He was a bit of a Marvel darling there for a bit, and then he fell of the face of the earth. I quite liked most of his work.
Savage Avengers Draft: She-Hulk | Elektra | Echo | Gamora | Rogue | Chun Li | White Widow | Shuri
I got to meet him (briefly) through my local comic shop, Acme Comics, some years ago. He was an invited guest to one of their events, Free Comic Book Day I think but I am not positive. I used to work in the shop in the mid-90s and maintained a good relationship and helped out during their events.
After the event, we all (the store staff, guests and helpers like me) went to a restaurant and he sat across the table from me. It was there that I learned that he grew up in NC as well, not too terribly far from where I did. His back-up comic shop was my back-up comic shop, a place called "Books Do Furnish a Room," which was a comic shop/used book shop/used music shop. Nice guy.
