The only Alpha Flight I have read is the John Byrne run and Vol 4. Marvel has yet to reprint a majority of the rest of the first volume as far as I know. I always enjoy the Alpha entries on this site since I know so little about those issues.

I think one of the cool things about the run of Alpha Flight was that its insular nature from the rest of the Marvel Universe allowed them freedom to change and a tight continuity unburdened by outside continuity. Characters came and went and the team really evolved. Since then, everyone who comes to write the team wants to revert back to the initial, Byrne-classic roster, which doesn't make a lot of sense considering the team's history after its first two years.

One look, and you can tell she was created c. 1990. Like a mix of Malice-Polaris, Dark Scarlet Witch, Goblin Queen and Sue Storm as a hound.
