Hisako Ichiki had always set her sights on becoming one of the X-Men but her wish came true a lot sooner than she expected she she was caught up in one of the X-Men's many adventures. After proving herself on Breakworld, she was put under the tutelage of Wolverine, who saw the great potential she possessed. With her unique forcefields and determined spirit she has become of of the more dependable students the X-Men have ever had. Don't underestimate this young lady as you read our spotlight on...ARMOR!

Armor was one of the genuine highlights of Whedon’s Astonishing. I haven’t really read much of her story apart from that run, but I’m looking forward to catching up through this article.

Glad you like it. I like Armor as I think she has a great power, I just wish writers would utilise her more, I feel that many of the x-students rarely get good character development anymore when they are slotted onto the main teams.

FYI I just want to point out that finding an image for the stat page was nigh impossible. It was only the recent Cable series that yielded a good one. You can’t imagine how many times she was standing behind someone, or you could see the background through her forcefield.
