A YEAR?!?!?! We had all these articles written and prepared for this! Well...screw that...we're doing our theme month anyway.

Welcome to New Mutants March, our latest theme month that ties in to the live action film released next YEAR. We aim to get you up to speed on some of the characters and concepts you will hopefully see on the big screen. Our first release is an update to one of the New Mutants' most iconic members whose star has been on the rise since her last update and it will surely only go higher when the film eventually comes out. Off-topic gripe: Why must every X-Men related property be drab and gritty? Can’t we get some primary colored superheroics in the X-verse?

Now I wished I was a fly on the wall to witness the staff's reaction when the delay was announced. I must have been frustrating.

Yes it was rather annoying. Some articles we have lined up were written regardless and it wasn’t much to group them under the NM banner but there is one that was written specially because of the movie. It’s all good though, I doubt anyone will complain at some New Mutant action.

have to agree with gremlin, you take ages planning something and then someone throws a curve ball!

We do like to try and tie in with events happening in the comics or the movies when we can, kind of glad that we are only dealing with the X-men side of the universe.. be mad to try and cover all of marvel with so many movies coming out now!

Regardless of the movie situation, Magik is one of my favorite Marvel characters and she's had some really good stories since her last update. It was a great read. Thanks and look forward to the rest of the month.
