may he rest in peace. His legacy will live on forever. his life was excelsior and we were honored to have had him for so long. I hope he's happily reunited with his wife. Thank you Stan for all you did for us

I've been trying to emotionally prepare myself for this day for years but it still hurts. I was lucky enough to ask him a question during a ComicCon Q&A a few years back and it was one of the most surreal moments of my life.
He did so much for his fans over the last decade and it is unbelievable he found the strength for as long as he did. His legacy lives on in all of us and future generations. RIP.
