These previously unknown heroes from Other-Earth found themselves working for Nighthawk as part of his Redeemers, a group formed to take down the Squadron Supreme and bring about the end of the Utopia Principle. But soon after infiltrating the Squadron, these newbie heroes found themselves not only enjoying being a part of the Squadron, but also in love. Their future was left uncertain following Other-Earth's own civil war, when the Squadron agreed to disband. But when death loomed over the Squadron's universe, all available heroes were called into action, including these two. Unfortunately, that deadly mission saw one of these heroes killed in a shocking manner, leading the other stranded in a world not their own and yearning for their lost love.
