The newest heroes of the 90's, Psionex were an attempt at artificially engineering super-heroes to order by the firm GeneTech. Powerful but borderline psychotic after their genesis, Psionex always teetered between rivals and outright foes for the New Warriors. They were registered under the Initiative and assigned as the state team of Maryland under Norman Osborn. As part of the fiasco at Broxton and the Siege of Asgard, the current status of these heroes(...?) with attitude remains unresolved.
