The Imperion of Polemachus rules his world with an iron will and an iron fist. Although Arkon has never threatened Earth for mere glory, he has proven willing to destroy the planet if it would benefit Polemachus in some way. His own ego and sinister allies have occasionally provoked Arkon into acting as a foe of the Avengers, X-Men, or others. In recent years, Polemachus was drawn into the extra-dimensional zone known as Weirdworld, and Arkon has begun a quest to locate the ever-shifting Polemachus within that realm, drawn through one adventure after another.

A rather unexpected profile. After decades of appearances, Arkon has somehow avoided joining any major hero or villain teams. He also does not appear frequently enough to be a major presence in anyone's rogues gallery. Too bad, the powerful warlord somehow has fewer appearances and publicity than the likes of the Toad or the Wrecker.
