In many ways, this Marvel UK heroine was a “reverse” Carol Danvers. Instead of becoming one of the X-Men's supporting cast, they actually became hers. Whether it was cynical marketing or not, the X-Men featured in nearly every issue, even getting co-billing in her title! Very much a character of the ‘90s with an edgy look to match, Shevaun Haldane fought to atone for her father's macabre sins, though she just ended up paying for them.... literally.
