Update On...NIMROD

Week 3 of Krakoa Month puts the focus on their greatest foes, Orchis. Today we convert another of our classic Bring on the Bad Guys articles into the traditional Spotlight format. The mutant-hunting Super-Sentinel called Nimrod was originally a threat that travelled back in time to threaten the X-Men of the present. Nimrod served as physical representation of the haunting Days of Future Past timeline, which the X-Men were constantly trying to prevent. Moira X also warned Krakoa that preventing the rise of Nimrod was their best chance at preventing extinction at the hands of man and machine. The future doesn't like to be thwarted, though, and the X-Men's own early first strikes against Orchis to prevent Nimrod would bring about the ultimate Sentinel instead. The modern Nimrod proved to be an equal-or-greater threat to Krakoa's Omega-mutant resources, and eventually revealed a calloused indifference to the value of any organic life, human or mutant.
