However, with the return of the original X-Statix creative team in Giant-Size X-Statix in 2019, followed by a couple of mini series, several thought-to-be-dead fan favorite characters were revealed to have survived the bloody end of the X-Statix book. Vivisector was one such character, having thrived in both his writing profession and his romantic life. However, the siren's call of fame is ever alluring, despite the dangers associated.
