Forum Access/visibility -Why cant I read posts?

for the last few months we have had a number of issues on the forum, which appear to have been related to a number of Bots/web scrapers visiting the site and causing significant slow down, not just on the forum but on mightyavengers.net and uncannyxmen.net sites as well.

In fact it also had a massive increase in our site bandwidth, which thankfully our hosting company was accommodating and we had no additional charges for running the sites ( as a non profit community site, for the fans by the fans, we don't want to run any additional ads!)

While we were able to make some changes on our hosting to accommodate this, This unfortunately has meant that we now require you to be registered to read the various topics across the forum.

The News and Forum rules sections remain readable, but the rest of the forum requires registration.

While we have good spam protection for registrations, we still get a sizeable number daily, so we manually review new sign ups. In most cases this happens within 24 hours, but just be aware it might take a few days before your account is activated.
You should receive an email was activated (check your email junk/spam folder) but you can also come back and see if you can access the other forum sections to test.
