With the recent wrap-up of Jason Aaron's run on Avengers, this week we'll be spending time with some of the stars from his five years on the title. And, because puns are funny, we're starting with the biggest "Star" of them all, the Star Brand child. The latest inheritor of one of the Primordial Powers, "Brandy Selby" was imbued with the Star Brand before she was born. Her mother died giving birth to her, and so the Avengers took over care for the Star Brand. They were surprised when Brandy started aging prematurely, rapidly growing from an infant to a young child to an adult. Destined to burn out early, this Omni-Avenger made the most of her brief time on Earth and sacrificed herself along with the First Phoenix to restore hundreds of damaged timelines after the climactic battle with the Multiversal Masters of Evil.
