Sebastian, Shinobi and Fitzroy are hardly who comes to mind when readers think of "A-List" X-Men villains. Still, they undoubtedly had their day so to speak in the 80s and 90s when they were on the cusp of being truly significant and featured in some key stories. In many ways, this loss of "greatness" (while ultimately striving for said greatness) is a defining characteristic of the Shaws, whose troubled lineage line dates back to 17th century America and the Sorcerer Supreme of his day, noted witch hunter Hiram Shaw.
