Spotlight On...MOUNTJOY!

Post by Monolith »

Mountjoy was a criminal from Bishop's future, a serial killer who fed off of the bodies of others. His arrival in the present forced Bishop to choose between the lethal force employed by the X.S.E. and his new team's stricter rules on killing. Mountjoy next moved on to London's Hellfire Club, infiltrating the Inner Circle in the body of their Scribe. He was a side threat to Captain Britain and Excalibur during the Club's collaboration with Black Air. Mountjoy retained Scribe as a host, but was bested in combat by Madelyne Pryor to become Rook of the Manhattan Hellfire Club. He hasn't been seen since, but then, Mountjoy was always good about hiding in plain sight.

Is Dirtnap also from Bishop's future? I always get him and Mountjoy mixed up

Dirtnap is from Genesis (cable’s son) right?
From The Ashes Books I like: X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Exceptional X-Men, X-Force, Dazzler, and NYX…so far, so good.

Dirtnap is associated with Tyler / Genesis's Dark Riders and presumably a local-era mutant with a rather bizarre power.

Yeah, the rat with the smiley face on his back. His powers are similar. He "devours" his victims and assumes their forms/powers, except the smiley face appears on the new host's body.
