Hailing from Spider-Man's legendary Clone Saga, Judas Traveller was introduced as a mysterious god-like being fixated on discovering the true nature of good and evil. Through his interaction with the inmates at Ravencroft, Traveller became interested in Spider-Man and his clone, the Scarlet Spider. Only as the two year event came to a close was it revealed that Traveller was actually a delusional mutant able to alter perceptions, and his powers helped convince others (and himself) that his self-aggrandized persona was real. Him becoming involved with the anti-mutant organization Orchis raises many questions, but that's typically what happens when Traveller is involved.

Re: Spotlight On...JUDAS TRAVELLER
I'm glad Judas is back - I loved how kooky /weird he was at the time, and so different from every other villain in Spidey's rogue gallery, but the return of Norman basically side-lined him into a delusional joke character.

He really did. One of the quickest turnaround on an article we’ve had.

I literally never heard of this character before his appearances this year so this was an interesting read.

In the 90s, I legit thought Judas was like an Apocalypse/Magneto level baddie. I legit wrote a letter to Wizard asking if they think he’d be the big bad of a summer crossover lol
From The Ashes Books I like: X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Exceptional X-Men, X-Force, Dazzler, and NYX…so far, so good.

Any relation to Warren Traveller (the Ms. Marvel villain)?

EDIT…looks like someone (in the link) already suggested that he might be a counterpart

Judas Traveller warrants a whole page in my Spider-Man encyclopaedia, which says a lot when Spider-Man characters that have appeared more, or been around longer, dont appear at all
