March begins S.W.O.R.D. Month, as the Sentient World Observation and Response Department reforms under the guidance of Krakoa. Peeper is an analyst for S.W.O.R.D.'s Violet branch, lending his vision to Krakoa's space program. With a long history of activism, Peeper worked for the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants before helping to found the Resistants and organize against the Mutant Registration Act. Tragically, an electrical accident left him with a tic and reduced acumen for several years as the repetitive "Peepers, yes yes yes." His Krakoan resurrection has restored Peter's health and faculties, and he's happy to serve his new homeland as part of S.W.O.R.D. and the Six.

The first time I remember seeing this character was when he was eaten by a predator X in the Messiah Complex. I’m kind of surprised how much history he has before that.

I love how the writer of SWORD used him to really mess with Cortez’s ego.
