Continuing UXN's penchant for exploring the backstories of characters in the X-Verse both big and small, our next profile definitely is one of those smaller characters. The following femme fatale, emphasis on the fatal, was Rachel Summers first real opponent in the so called "Askani" timeline. Possessed of a macabre ability to drain the powers of her opponents as she murdered them, this "alleged" daughter of Apocalypse used the myriad of abilities she attained from her kills to serve as his chief lieutenant. Undoubtedly a woman of great ambition, seemingly named after a real world roman emperor, she even managed to temporarily "steal" the Phoenix Force. Read now about the cruel Diamanda Nero.
