RIOT AT XAVIER'S! Kid Omega and the Omega Gang were a home grown threat to the X-Men from the middle of Grant Morrison's classic run on the series. Rebellious teenagers on drugs are a parent's worse nightmare, but being led by an Omega-class mutant with super intelligence under the subconscious influence of a bacterial consciousness from the dawn of time make it uniquely X-Men. Despite the "one-and-done" nature of the Omega Gang's threat, the multi-part story contributed long-running X-Men associates Glob Herman and Quentin Quire to mutant history, and still had ramifications today.
