The Swiss-born Kleinstock brothers, Sven, Harlan and Eric, were part of a slew of new X-Men villains that were introduced in the mid-1990s. While never quite getting past the role of henchmen/fodder, the brothers (like all of Magneto's more prominent Acolytes) were written as fanatical as they were “human” (just don't tell them we said that!). With an intriguing powerset, a Stepford Cuckoos-style bond, moments of extreme brutality and fleeting glimpses of possible redemption, these Brothers embody missed opportunities.
