They are Earth's Mightiest Heroes - just not this Earth's! Hailing from Other Earth also known as Earth-S and Earth-712, a world mostly devoid of beings with super-powers. There came a day, unlike any other, when seven unique individuals joined together against a threat that none could handle alone - and thus, the Squadron Supreme was born. The team went through great upheaval in their early days, losing teammates and gaining new ones, and fighting off possession after possession. Their world left in ruin, most of the team agreed to enact the Utopia Principle, whereby the Squadron Supreme ruled, taking care of one social problem after another. This eventually led to a civil war among the superhuman community - then the death of their universe. A number of the Squadron became trapped on Earth-616 for a time, before eventually returning to their own, where a new world order existed.
