All July, we'll be covering Spotlights and other articles related to the Squadron Supreme of Earth-S, their evil counterparts the Squadron Sinister of Earth-616, and the various other versions of the Squadron that have impacted the Avengers, the X-Men, and other corners of the Marvel Universe. As a deliberate pastiche of the Justice League, the Squadron Supreme often exist as a pointed commentary on the Avengers, a parallel between what Marvel sees as Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and what *some other people* might see as heroism.
