Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
Eva Bell's mastery over time is necessary to bring mutant husks to their appropriate age but she didn't always have such control over her powers. Recruited by Cyclops for his mutant revolution, the young Australian learned about her unique "time bubbles" on the fly while fighting against sentinels and demons. But she didn't learn quick enough and after accidentally trapping herself in an alternate future, Eva returned to the X-Men with loss, secrets, and harsh lessons learned. Spend some time reading all about the mutant known called TEMPUS.

Re: Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
I never really paid much attention to Bendis’s creations before but Eva was one who stood out. I’m glad she’s got an important place on Krakoa as she has a lot of potential, I just hope she is fleshed out a bit more aside from being one of the five.
Everybody is entitled you their opinion...but yours is wrong.

A spotlight on Tempus? It's about time.
Best Comics of Week 16

I hate you.
From The Ashes Books I like: X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Exceptional X-Men, X-Force, Dazzler, and NYX…so far, so good.

Re: Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
Tempus is cool. What I can't understand is why Tempus specifically is the time dilation mutant on the five. Couldn't Tempo or Sway do her job and be worshipped as well? Maybe Tempus just has the most control or something?
Books to be excited for:
Immortal X-men, X-men Red, She-Hulk, The Fall of X

Re: Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
Catch-22, since both Tempo and Sway were dead until the Five came along. I'm comfortable with the idea of rescuing Bendis characters from obscurity in a post-Bendis world. (Writers STILL aren't willing to use Lifeguard, Slipstream, and Neal Sharra for much of anything in a post-neoClaremont society.)
And...OMG you guys, we just did the math and it turns out Eva Bell was the 349th Character Article on UXN! Can YOU guess who our big 350th Spotlight Spectacular will be next week? First one to guess correctly gets to be smug with no added benefit whatsoever!

My guess is Birdbrain!
Savage Avengers Draft: She-Hulk | Elektra | Echo | Gamora | Rogue | Chun Li | White Widow | Shuri
Re: Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
How have you missed it Anna there is already a Bird-Brain spotlight. My guess is Monolith has already gave us the hint with unappreciated neo-Clarement characters and it will be Sketch from the revolution era :p
X-Editorial Draft: Prodigy, Vange Whedon, lil' Iceman, Wallflower, Cecelia Reyes, Mimic, U-Go Girl, Doc Samson, Nature Girl

Re: Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
Oh! That's too funny, I was going for such an obscure character they would never have a Spotlight. I even checked the Character Glossary and there was no "See Our Character Spotlight: link here" entry like most have.Magik84 wrote: 23 Apr 2021, 15:39How have you missed it Anna there is already a Bird-Brain spotlight. Re: Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
As an Aussie its always great to see an Australian character show up. Funny that Tempus, like Lifeguard and Slipstream, are all from the Gold Coast. I guess it reads better than Burpengary or Blackbutt
Just a note, and I saw someone else mentioned this on the Facebook page too, but you live on the Gold Coast, not in it. Its not a city named Gold Coast, its a stretch of towns and cities along a popular patch of coast line. There's your geography lesson for the day

Re: Spotlight on... TEMPUS!
Just like how Magik lost 6-7 years of her life due to time-teleporting, Tempus has been through the same thing and it has changed her tremendously.
