Six strangers, each an X-Man from a different reality, brought together to ensure life as we know it doesn't cease to exist! Spanning eight years and two series these heroes captured the hearts of readers through their struggles and heroism. Breaking the cardinal Marvel rule that no-one stays dead, their story broke new ground. Any issue could be a favourite's last. Read now our article on... Really good read GibberingFool. Thanks for the article. It was nice to read the New Exiles section in particular as I had skipped over that series. I loved Exiles as it was coming out and did not like the change in tone that Claremont brought to the last 10 issues of the series at the time. Maybe I'll give the Claremont issues a second chance.
Books to be excited for:
Immortal X-men, X-men Red, She-Hulk, The Fall of X
I half expected this event to kick off with a Series Disambiguation article on all Exiles titles, which would only be a partial overlap with this Team article, given that there's also the All-New Exiles set in the Ultraverse (half X-characters, half Ultraverse), and it's Ultraverse "Exiles" predesssor, win which Amber Hunt debuted. (who then also appeared in the All new Exiles)
One thing I loved about the Exiles when it started was it took X-characters that never really took off in the main Marvel timeline. Mimic, Sunfire, Morph (Changeling), Thunderbird, all hadva "second chance" to shine in the Exiles.
