20 years? Wow... there's probably forum members and certainly X-Men readers younger than you lot have been at this.

Happy birthday. Hope the Juggernaut doesn't pop over to deliver the birthday beats :D

I registered sometime after December of 2001. That's when X-Treme X-Men #33 came out, in which it was revealed Rogue was going by "Anna Raven". I might not have posted until 2002 though. Thanks for being here for me all these years UXN!

I've been a daily visitor since about 2006. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the site over the years and you especially Dean for its genesis; X-Men has meant a lot to me in my life and the site has made the understanding and enjoyment of that fandom so much greater.

I definitely remember reading the Onslaught Event Month as it was live meaning I get my 15 year award - had to go through the site logo design retrospective to check though. I forgot to mention in my feedback, I loved all those themed logos, wish there was an update to this page ;)

Though I've only been on the forums since 2014 (wow, even those six years feel like they've flown by) I've been regularly visiting UXM since long before that. It can't have been that long after the site first went online that I first found the it.

P-90, that's a great question that we didn't think to include in the survey. How did you find the UXN? Just a Google search on an X-Men related subject and followed a link?

TBH I can't remember, but yeah it probably was either a google search or a link from another site.

For the final Twenty (one) for Twenty upate I thought I’d take this moment to talk about our byline; For the Fans, By the Fans.

In 2000 I had no real plan other than creating a space to share my love for Marvels Merry Mutants, a group of individuals that became a family (warts and all) who influenced my younger self. I’ve already regaled a little about those early days and once the seed was planted, I was, and still to this day, amazed that others have joined this little adventure. Many have come and gone over the years and a few still haven’t left (believe me, we’ve tried to get rid of them, they just don’t go). I guess you must be wired a certain way to want to contribute; Whether writing articles or helping with image work, No one gets paid for contributing to UXN, it doesn’t make you insta-famous and it can feel a like a chore having to re-read X-Men: Time gliders for the 4th time. We do this for the fun, for the satisfaction of creating a resource that others will enjoy or find helpful
I never expected that UXN would become what it is today. I cannot and do not take any credit for that, all the praise deserves to go to the individuals that have contributed their time and effort to produce the content you see, this labor of love that is UXN.

So as I close this Birthday celebration week, please raise a glass to those selfless contributors that for 20 years have week in, week out, that do this for us, the fans.
