Legends of Tomorrow

Figured it was about time this got its own thread. There may be spoilers for Flash and Arrow so be warned.

So we're getting a third show in the verse starting mid season next year. I don't know why, but I thought Roy was supposed to be in this. I'm going to go ahead and say my favorite part about this show is going to be the villains easily. Captain Cold, Heat Wave, and White Canary? Yes please!

Rory took a job where he could spend time with his granddaughter.

I'm fairly impressed. Looks like Ray finally lives up to the Atom name

Cold is the only one that will sell this series to me... I'll wait & see.

That was probably the most magical thing I've ever seen. Ray has become one of my favorite parts of Arrow, Sara was already great, and I get Captain Cold. I couldn't care less about Hawkgirl since we've got no information on her so far, though I imagine we'll see her show up in one of the shows, probably Flash, next season.

Captain Cold is the Cal of the DCTVU...he chews scenery so well, I just enjoy it beyond anything.

I'm curious how this would change if Captain Cold & Heatwave were Fire & Ice.

I wouldn't have Captain Cold and I just can't live in that world.

Can Legends of Tomorrow focus on Dr. Stein & Atom performing impromptu marriages?

Casper Crump is Vandal Savage!
The guy that was Whiplash in Agents of SHIEL, Falk Hentschel, not to be confused with Whiplash in IM2, is Hawkman.

Covering Hawkman's nipples's is UNACCEPTABLE!
It's hard to tell if they still have their hawk logo strap buckles.
The helmets would ook better in metalic bronze with red lenses.
I would've like some green in their costumes, especially Kendra.
Hawkman does look more like Wolverine than anything Hughbert Jackalman's worn.

I'm disappointed Chronos didn't retain his ostentatious fashion sense from the comics.
Much of the exposition was redundant given the Flasharrow crossover.

But I get them rehashing for new viewers.

I thought this was more corny than Arrow and Flash combined. But it kind of turned around for me by the end. The mix of personalities is interesting enough to keep me in for now.

I'm happy it's not DD or Jessica Jones, it's not taking itself too seriously and it knows exactly what it is. I am here for that lol...pilots are always rough so I didn't expect it to be as fun as it was.

OMG, that 70s bar scene was hilarious and great!

I like how how all of these differing personalities are already splitting off into their niche groupings within the team.

I hope they manage to develop some form of friendship between Carter and Ray, something akin to or perhaps an homage to their traditional partnership/friendship in the DCU.

Loved it, off to a great start.

Overall, I really liked the pilot.

It had a lot of story to tell, gathering members, a number of missions, mini-teams and whole team action and all within the confines of 1 hour.

I Hope the rest of the season's episodes are equally as good. And that the show stays on Thursday nights.

The weirdest thing about it was Rip abducts everybody with there gear & asks them to meet up again 36 hours yet only gives the location to Stein. Then they all arrive in civilian clothes & no luggage yet everyone's supergear is on the Waverider when they need it. They could've just left from the rooftop.
It's also weird that Laurel made her sister a brand new costume & identity behind her back.

I agree on all counts except that I figured it would be pretty easy to pass the card around.

Like Rip couldn't be bothered making cards for everyone since this is the first time most of them have met.
Also, Dr. Stein keeps a decanter of drugged alcohol in his office.

I thought it was funny how he kept denying he had rufied the kid, even after he had clearly rufied the kid.
