Wolverine #18

Post by das_boot » 25 Nov 2021, 10:52

Spoiler: show
Jeff and his daughter are traced, Logan saves them, Jeff hands over a Krakoan bug that Maverick had, they double cross Maverick (at the expense of Delores who gets shot) so Maverick hands over a bug full of Jonny Cash karaoke.
I only care about Jeff, his daughter and Delores. This isn’t a great book.

This arc showed promise but fizzled out. I am not at all a fan of this heel turn by Maverick.
Best Comics of Week 47

X-titles: X-Men #5 by Gerry Duggan (3) and Javier Pina (1), Ze Carlos (1)
Non-X titles: Black Panther #1 by John Ridley (1) and Juann Cabal (1)

In parentheses number of times creator has had best comic this year

This. It feels like it came completely out of nowhere?

Especially considering his history as a heroic figure.

I liked the artwork and it was nice to show more of the Krakoan Mutants and Wolverine finally asking Forge to build a security system which is what he is supposed to be doing anyway.

This would be better as a part of X-Force, unsure why Maverick is against Wolverine thought they were pals?

His 90s series was a highlight for me…his design then was also dope.
Morrison Era 2001-2005, Decimation Era from 2005-2012, Bendis Era 2012-2016, M-Pox era 2016-2017, and Resurrxion 2017-2019, Hickman Era 2019-?
