It looks like x-men will become the hero team book and hickman's master plan book will be this new title.

I’m guessing Hickman’s book will be Legacy, and whatever Williams is writing will spiral almost immediately out of something in X-Faqtor, or potentially be the Moira title

Gross, they're renumbering X-Men yet again. To think we were only on Vol 2 in 2008 and we're already hitting Vol 6 now...

Might be over-analyzing but to me it looks like the mystery title is "The [5 letter word]", maybe The Trial?

I've never really cared about numbering, but if things are as we expect... It's basically a new book. Maybe they'll keep the legacy numbering so everyone is happy.

New creative team
New roster
New plot

I'm only sad they didn't name it Uncanny X-Men. Go back to the Coke Classic of names.

Seems like it. First letter is either e f t or z. Second letter is b d p or r. Third has to be I. Forth is likely a. Last letter is either I or L.

The X-line is starting to get a bit bloated IMO. Maybe they will cancel Marauders as Duggan takes over X-men. I hope they don't cancel X-Factor for Leah's new book but maybe with Polaris potentially leaving, it will be rebooted with a similar concept. My guess is that the Moira book would be Hickman's new title.
Current Pull List
Hickman's X-men, Runaways, Champions, Immortal Hulk, X-Factor, New Mutants, Hellions, Marauders

I'll forever fear for Marauders and Excalibur. I could see Children of the Atom going and possibly Hellions as well.

If you put a gun to my head, I'd actually guess the new Hickman title will be Uncanny.

Duggan can write two titles...we must protect Marauders at all cost!

I really hope we finally get that Moira/Trirumvirate title to see what they have been doing since the beginning.

Though i also find those relaunches getting gimmicky to boost sales, it does make sense to renumber X-men when Hickman leaves and gets a new agenda.

Yeah I feel the line is a little bloated already. As much as I hate to say it, New Mutants isn’t doing it for me. Plus CotA definitely didn’t grab me on the first issue. X-Force is okay but I wouldn’t miss it too much.
Marauders, Hellions, Excalibur and X-Factor are all doing wonders for me.
Everybody is entitled you their opinion...but yours is wrong.

The same, I’ll never ever ever understand the consternation it causes people.

It would have made sense if Hickman had kept X-Men going as it is primarily his main book and where he moves the franchise to one or another direction while giving this new X-men team its very well deserved relaunch using the classic Uncanny X-Men or the not-that-classic Astonishing X-Men.

Taking X-men from Hickman and relaunching it now is just marketing and it might be unnecessarily confusing.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter. I'm just beyond happy Duggan and Larraz are reunited in a book and that book is the new X-men team!

Yall say “it’s just marketing” as though this isn’t a business and that’s a four (nine?) letter word...like how dare they use marketing for things. Comic book fans are funny.

If humans can deal with the internet everyday or follow Tv shows over multiple seasons as they change showrunners and networks, it can’t be that difficult to follow this particular comic relaunching.

The fact that adjectiveless Xmen was not a team book in June and its relaunched in July to be the team book can be confusing, not to me or not to you but generally speaking.
Relaunching tittles and giving us another #1 is pure marketing, it happens fairly often nowadays.

Not a fan of JR JR. The way he draws characters that fly seems odd to me. I cannot put my finger on it, but to me he draws thel in a cramped and unnatural way. Like they are expel bodily gasses in order to propel themselves around the room or in the air. 🤷‍♂️
