Children of the Atom, new book?

Found some news out about the X-Men, Avengers, Batman or even? The monthly previews have been released ? Or perhaps there's a rumour you've heard, then post it here for the world to see.

Oh I’m not arguing one or the other but just that it would be unrealistic to expect the other books to bring it up. It would definitely come out of nowhere if it did...
Morrison Era 2001-2005, Decimation Era from 2005-2012, Bendis Era 2012-2016, M-Pox era 2016-2017, and Resurrxion 2017-2019, Hickman Era 2019-?

Yeah, you're not wrong.

At this point I've learned, I should read it because every time I dismiss a book it's amazing.

So, sorry if my reality warping abilities ruin this book everyone.

My personal mantra is always, "Young Avengers, Heath Ledger as Joker, Young Avengers..."

Sometimes things turn out good, and I had no idea what I was talking about.

Legacies and aging are two very very different things.

You can have a legacy like the Flashes from Jay to Barry to Wally to Bart...But you also have Barry de-aged, Wally de-aged/changed and oG Flash erased from time (before coming back). And that’s just the Flash...we can get into Superman, Batman or Hawkman if you feeling frisky.

Whereas you can also have Captain Mar-Vel, Carol as Captain Marvel (with some people still pissed she took over the name...go figure, fans) and Kamala as the new Ms. Marvel.
Plus there was Sharon Ventura, Noh-Varr, Genis-Vell, Phyla-Vell + Hulking, all of which are a "legacy" of Mar-Vell. And Captain America's list of 'legacy' inspired characters could also go on for ages.

I think Marvel has started to develop the 'second-generation' characters; Stature, Nadia Van Dyne but the kids tend to not necessarily 'age', even according to the sliding time-scale ,being either retcons or going through funny temporal stuff (growing up in different timelines, disappearing for years before re-appearing more aged etc.)

I mean Franklin who was born way back in '68 is still pre/early teens, right?

He and Val are both teens now. They got aged up recently. I'd peg him right around 15-16 and Val about 12-13.

Which proves SK's point a bit. Following Secret Wars, Reed, Sue and the kids stayed outside of regular timelines as they worked on restoring/rebuilding the multiverse one reality at a time. They did that for abut five years during which they all aged those years, but the point they returned to in the 616 was only a couple of months after the end of Secret Wars and them being presumed dead.

I don't know. Franklin's contemporaries were the Power Pack, who were all younger than the New Mutants. Alex and Julie Power certainly grew up. Franklin and Val have been aged and de-aged multiple times, so they're an anomaly. I think the bigger takeaway is that, despite the real time between generations being made, comic time dictates that those generations are actually alot closer together than we imagine. Stuff like Chamber and Sunspot being the same age and Surge being the same age as Jubilee.

The Power Pack just makes me think that the youngest members were being superheroes SUPER young.

Because Alex is portrayed as an adult so maybe between 20-23 and Julie is 100% legal so maybe 18-21. That leaves the rest as like teens or pre-teens.

Alex was 12, Julie was 10, Jack was 8, and Katie was 5. So yeah, Jack and Katie would be in highschool.

No one let them haha, the storyline was literally that they were sneaking out and fighting bad guys on their own.
