He can still fly. He was more discreet in general with his powers when they were overcharged by M-Pox during the Avengers Idea Mechanics era, so power demonstrations were fewer and further between.

What about Proudstar (or is he going by Warpath again)? Can he still fly? Also, has it been stated how Proteus reconstituted? I was under the impression that he couldn't do that without help, like what Piecemeal did.

Warpath has never lost the power to fly, but he has used it significantly less since joining the X-Men (UXM #475). Christopher Yost, writer for X-Force (3rd series), once did an interview where he said Jimmy just wasn't comfortable flying. He is still capable of it though, and flew in X-Force at the end of Messiah War, and I think acknowledged the ability more recently in Weapon X (3rd series).

One of the Dawn of X text pages explained how Proteus was using genetic husks of Charles Xavier as disposable host bodies, grown to his needs by Goldballs/Elixir.

Thanks, Mono. It makes sense that someone who relies on strength would prefer to be on the ground, for leverage.

Monolith... Based on past and current cannon who do you believe developed and created Cyclops original glasses -- Xavier or Essex?

It was always Essex.
