To be fair I don't pay attention to upcoming games the way I used to. That said Final Fantasy 7 remake and Dragon Age 4 are totally on my radar.

I was excited for Death Stranding when it was first being announced but the more they show the more I feel it is going to be Kojima-like to the point of self-parody lol. It is just looking too wacky.

Pretty much how I felt about Death Stranding.

Final Fantasy VII Remake
Final Fantasy VIII Remaster
Dragon Age 4: Dread Wolf Rises
Man of Medan
Last of Us Two

I'm cautious about CYberpunk. It looks great but I've never been a big first person fan(I get kinda sick...). I'm also off the Death Stranding train. I didn't love the last Metal Gear either....so, yeah.

Though it hasn't been announced but it's likely a given on the next gen, I can't wait for Horizon Zero Dawn 2.

Fire Emblem 3 Houses (know this is now out, but I need to order this)
Luigi's Mansion 3
Metroid Prime 4

That's it on my immediate radar. Might give Cyberpunk a go too, as massive fan of Witcher 3 from the same developers.

Same. These days I don't pay a huge amount of attention to upcoming games as I used to. I actually don't recognise many of the games mentioned so far but at least I have some names to go look up.

But I am excited for Dragon Age 4. I've been looking forward to Mario Maker 2 and Ultimate Alliance 3 as well, and while they're out now I probably won't get them for a while yet.

When I saw in my teens and 20's I played a lot of computer games. I'm 35 now and I struggle to find time to play a lot of games. When I do get them I tend to opt for games that will take me many many hours to complete such as Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Dragon Age games.

I will be getting MUA 3 next week. I also forgot to mention the Elder Scrolls 6, whatever it may be called. I will totally be getting that.

Streets of Rage 4 has a new character trailer. Cherry Hunter is Adam Hunter's (of the original game) daughter and looks to replace Skate as the speed character. Also, the music is so great! My excitement keeps increasing for this title.

Man, I hated FF8's Draw System. I remember making a spreadsheet to max stats amongst the six party members but I also remember 8 being the first FF I didn't 100% (after 6, 7, and Tactics).

Forgot about Pokemon Sword/Shield... it's been a long, long time since I last played a proper Pokemon game, but with the Switch, I think I'm gonna try and get back in to it.

Bit of a golden age for RPGs on the Switch, with all of the third party RPGs ported to it, but great exclusives like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Fire Emblem Three Houses.

I hated it first playthrough but that was before I really understood the junction system. The second time around I literally just hunted down beasties that had new spells, drew like my life depended on it, and then very rarely actually used magic at all...

Yeah, that was my main problem with it. I like using magic and I was afraid to because I'd have to go hunt down draws.

I should say since my last post, I highly recommend any Switch owners picking up FE:3H, it's phenomenal in its storytelling and the learning curve is great in how it teaches you new aspects to the game system. It's the first game I have spent 70+ hours on, only to restart it immediately after. On the 2nd of four possible routes, and 100 hours and still finding new things about it. So much fun.

I tried Fire Emblem Heroes on mobile and I realized I'm not very good at strategic type games. I can do turn-based type things, but when range and positioning come into play I end up getting destroyed.

I think FE:Heroes isn't meant to the the most representative of the series. 3H was pretty easy for me to pick up, even though I was new to the genre, but my experience of Civ games probably helped me on the turn-base / unit positioning understanding.

Man of Medan has of course since come out and I got it day one and devoured it and loved it.

Another game I forgot to mention that can be slotted in now is Blacksad: Under the Skin. Blacksad is a French comic book noir series that I have been intending to check out and now they have a narrative adventure game coming out for it as well.

Oooh, that's by Pendulo, they've made some fun point'n'click games in the past, the first two Runaway games were pretty good. If they can capture the adaptability of the story as per TWD games from Telltale with the more authentic Lucasarts adventure gameplay they could be on to something with Blacksad.
