This movie fucked me up. I need to talk about it to somebody. Like... this is going to be something that will affect me for a long time after seeing it. I seriously kept looking over at my friend and whispering "this is so fucked up".
Toni Collette did such an agonizingly amazing job. Honestly, from Gabriel Byrne's slow collapse to Alex Wolff's frantic growing horror to the otherness of Milly Shapiro, the entire cast was fantastic. The film was unrelentingly horrific and, right up until the final scene, left me questioning my own sanity. (I swear to god, somebody in the row behind me was clicking their tongue.) For best results, see this film in a mostly empty, quiet theater.
Did anybody else see this movie? Anybody? Bueller?
Did you see the Dr. Strange Movie from the 70's? Me neither, but I'm sure someone did. Come here to talk about Movies and TV
