Agreed on so much, Anna. Especially on Medusa's hair. Yikes. I don't want it to seem like that's the only thing I took away from the promotional materials - I'm actually pretty excited about this - but what's up with their wig game? Even Crystal's looked a little suspicious...

Yikes, that was boring. And you'd think they'd want to show how badass Medusa is. The brother vs brother thing is yawn inducing. It's all just so generic

Well, in the show's defense, that's literally 50% of the plots that involve the Inhumans.

The impossible has been accomplished. I'm less impressed with this than I am with Spider-Man Homecoming.

Wow. So much negativity. I liked the trailer. I wasn't expecting the moon (no pun intended) andcwas happy enough the trailer and felt it really captured the core aspects of the inhumans; the separation from mankind and the family drama at the core. The special effects look decent

I am mixed about this. Medusa's hair looks soooooo fake. I will give this a try but I'm reaching my superhero saturation point.

I just don't understand Marvel's need to put this in IMAX. It looks like it could just as easily be Season 5 of Agents of SHIELD. This isn't a bad thing as I love AoS, but I'm sure as hell not going to pay however much money to see a TV show in IMAX.

I wonder if it's because this was supposed to be a film originally. Maybe there are some behind-the-scenes contracts with cinema chains or studios that mean they are forced to give it a cinematic release.

There is still no glimpse of Triton in this right? He is supposed to be in this show and I am curious just how far they will go with his fish look. But he hasn't appeared in any promotional material afaik

EDIT: nvm I watched more closely and realized he briefly appears at the 1:16 mark. Looks like they just painted him and did a very small fin

That trailer made me feel a bit better about the show. I mean, I was always gonna watch, but still.

I don't think there's a link so here it is:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xU9Z6cKsbY0

Ok, yes this makes me fell 100% better about the show. Finally, Medusa's hair moves and it doesn't look bad. And the production values of this trailer seem much better. But I am still perplexed by Maximus' Canadian accent lol.

I couldn't agree more...Black Bolt prolly more than just about any other superhero (besides Deadpool and Batman and their masks and Cyclops and his visor) just feels naked sans mask. Even Spider-man can sorta do without his mask (I love a trashed and ripped Spidey mask) but Black Bolt just isn't himself with a tuning fork and mask.

The problem with Black Bolt with a mask is you have a character that is meant to be silent. I know he'll have telepathy, but a mask would cover his face which would kill the ability to read his emotions. If a character can't talk we HAVE to have those facial features.

I disagree. He emotes plenty in the comics. It isn't like his mask is like Spidey's. You can see his eyes and his mouth. I wouldn't insist on his tuning fork thing, but the mask in general just adds so much to the character imo Image

Why would he need a mask though? At least during the pilot he is king of the Inhumans, who are a secluded society. He has no need for a mask.

Given the design of his mask it could be ceremonial or a mark of the king (akin to a crown) or apart of his house/family (like the El insignia).

They say it like how I thought it was "At-uh-lann". What did you think? "A-till-in?"

Agreed. Its kind of odd he wears a mask in the comics. Irs not like he has a secret identity. I wouldve liked the tuning fork to have been represented in some way though. A small tiara type crown or a scar on his forehead maybe. It may still be I guess we have to wait and see.
