They should have just sent with a generic red instead of that Fifth Element orange crap.

Speaking of wigs, am I the only one super curious as to how Crystal's hair is going to play out as well?

Gorgon and Maximus don't look half bad though.

I think it's actually just a strip of hair that is dyed black.

Looks like you're right. When I was looking at it on my phone they looked like they wrapped around her hair.

Every time I look at Medusa I'm more and more disappointed in her look. She looks so bad.

Gorgon's poncho is my least favorite.

Does Gorgon have hooves? It is hard to see through the watermark

A teaser was released today but there are no images in it, just a voiceover. That isn't helping.

io9 has the same questions about Medusa's wig too! I love some of the language they use: they say she's "wearing what looks like a Party City wig" (if that isn't a sly Drag Race reference, I don't know what is), and they even poke fun at Halle Berry Storm's wig in the 2000 X-Men movie, saying that it should have been more faithful to her comic book hairstyles - the iconic mohawk, or the "big, bold Delta Burke cumulus" lololol

No Triton? And Black Bolt communicates telepathically? I thought he used sign language/body language that Medusa had trained to understand.

Triton has been announced for the show though he isn't in the image. Not sure if they are doing some CGI for that. We know they are doing Lockjaw as a CGI character.

What I don't understand is they say not to expect some big displays of their powers, and yet the show is being hyped as something that appears on IMAX...WTF do you need IMAX for if it is just some people talking?

I imagine we'll get a couple of huge blockbuster fight scenes in a season. Especially in the first two IMAX episodes, since I'm guessing there's a much bigger budget for them. As far as their powers, Medusa's will probably be the most expensive. Blackbolt will probably end up looking alot like Quake. Karnak just fights. Gorgon is strong and stomps and shakes things. Crystal will probably mostly use the cheaper to animate powers; wind and fire.

The teaser was every bit as boring as the preview picture. It matches.

That wasn't a smoke cloud...that's Lockjaw and BB traveling.

It appears that Lockjaw's teleportation isn't the gateway-type but the instant transmission type. You watch it in slow-mo and that "blob" is what turns into Lockjaw and BB.

Black Bolt is deprived of alot of his quiet mystique by not having his mask. A mistake in my opinion to feature him without it.

It looks like they turned Lockjaw's tuning fork into markings on his forehead.

The actor playing BBis going to have to convey a lot via facial expressions, which are hard to do under a mask. You don't get a decent actor only to not give them lines and hide them under a mask.

He will be using telepathy so he will get lines.

But I think it is even harder to show emotion drawing someone in a mask but it works in the comics well enough.

First thoughts:

-Ramsay Bolton/Maximus is doing some kind of weird accent that he didn't have in GoT. It may just be that his American accent is terrible, but it sounds more like a Canadian accent. In fact it almost sounds like Rick Moranis' accent in Strange Brew. It's distracting, and I hope it isn't this bad throughout the series. Why not just let him do his natural British accent?
-We still haven't seen Medusa's hair do anything and it still looks as awful as it did in the stills. I'm beginning to wonder if she's even going to have any powers at this point. There's a spot in the trailers where she is being held down by guards. I can't imagine in the comics Medusa wouldn't be able to subdue them easily with her hair.
-Lockjaw looks cool.
-The sets look great, the costumes not so much
-They seem really proud its filmed in IMAX - I hope its not just a gimmick
