If your Legion Of SuperHeroes is wearing all black & only has three members, you’re doing it wrong
I just assumed they'd gradually wake them all up as the season progresses. Thoughts on who the other 4 are? I'd guess Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, Bouncing Boy (simply because he's fun), and maybe future Kara herself.

Judging by its Legion Of Doom, The CW defines "legion" as being a minimum of three people.
Future Kara wouldn't make sense for the love triangle.

I got the distinct feeling that Kara is at least still around in their time. They keep saying that the don't know much, but they know for a fact that she survived Reign. And Brainiac seems already infatuated with her.

Is that cape thing something from the comics, or was it invented for the show?

Superfolk have done things with capes in comics but I don't recall whether they tried to explain it as a special memory fabric. Sometimes Kryptonian clothing is as durable on Earth as the aliens wearing it due to solar absorbtion.
I resent Mon-El training Kara to use her cape. Not only has she done cool stuff with it before, but Superman would be the obvious mentor if she was having trouble with cape tricks.

The CW shows are such garbage I’ve deleted the app and forgotten all about them.

That sucks...

Legends and Black Lightning are such fun...Legends reminds of more diverse and funnier version of those old serials back in the day. Light, daring, sometimes strangely ambitious but also with a tongue firmly in cheek.

Ok, I’ll give Black Lightning a try one of these days.

Legends and Black Lightning are pretty much the only ArrowVerse shows worth watching. Though BL isn't technically in the Arrowverse, yet.

Also Riverdale.

The fourth season premiere of Supergirl left me feeling optimistic, but I felt the same way after the last two season premieres. I was this close to quitting after last season finale, so this time they’d better reward me for my perseverance.

Will the Black Kryptonite-spawned Red Son/Bombshells Supergirl officially be the show’s take on Power Girl?

I'm honestly not sure if Supergirl's writing has become politically savvier or if the real world political climate has degenerated to its level.

Supergirl lifting a whole factory from the inside was so badass I will completely ignore how logistically improbable it is!
Please be advised that Elseworlds will rejigger the airing order of the participating programs.

Do you think I'll need to catch up on Arrow for the Elseworlds thing, or will it be entirely stand-alone?

I've skipped Arrow this season & the crossover is about reality warping, so we'll probably be fine.

After a handful of Diet Lexes, it’s wonderful to finally meet the genuine article! Now this is the Lex we should’ve had in assorted movies!
Much like Agents of SHIELD & Gotham, Supergirl finally hit its stride in season four!

Did it? I stopped watching after the break because I mostly forgot about it, but I got real tired of the alien/mexican immigrant story REALLY fast because Supergirl never bothers with even the least bit of subtlety.

It has no subtlety, but It made it points well. More importantly, it was entertaining.

I'll most likely get around to finishing the season sometime in between. I fell behind on all the CW shows so I've got work to do. Supergirl is just a show I can only handle in smaller bursts.
