I like her energy in general. I'd be okay with her playing a young 20s Kitty.

Tom Cavanagh for Multiple Man!

Aw, Earth-2 gets the Scottish Mirror Master!
That was underwhelming how they beat MM & Top so easily.

Anyone else laugh at the absurdity of the intro to the episode?

Still liking the season so far.

Just starting Season 3. I think I missed S2. How did we get from there to here? Am I supposed to recognize Kid Flash and The Rival?

Kid Flash yes. Rival no.

The main thing you need to know is that the first episode of Season 3 is just after Barry has created the Flashpoint universe. So its an alternate timeline.

S03E01 -- anyone else notice the street he lands on when he arrives back in what appears to be his own world is the street the DeLorean lands on in Back to the Future?

That's their version of Savitar, a Wally West era Flash villain that I think Mark Waid created.

Hmm. Well, the original wouldn't translate well to live action, that's for sure. Not sure a copy of MCU Ultron was the right choice tho

I presumed that was because he was moving too fast to be seen by anyone else. Not invisibility or anything like that

For an episode named after him, The Shade barely counted as a character.

Whichever Dominator that was picking who to take with the beam at the end is terrible at his job. "Let's take all the ones that don't actually have any powers!"

It was refreshing that the superheroes were waited until after the mind control to start battling each other. The Dominator’s mental domination allowed for an awesome super-brawl without making anybody into irredeemable jerkwads! Congratulations on not letting your differing viewpoints come to intentional violence, unlike several cinematic superheroes I could mention! https://mattthecatania.wordpress.com/20 ... -occasion/

Hate to break it to you, but...
Spoiler: show
that becomes a plot point later on. They only wanted the powerless ones. Of course, that makes casting the Arrow episode easier, since the powered character actors don't have to be brought in to film as many scenes in the next episode. Convenient, eh?
Good catch, though.

Heatwave was literally protected from their teleporters by Felicity’s umbrella. I can’t believe Arrow's writers chose bittersweet catharsis over Heatwave!
Spoiler: show
They promise not to detonate the gene-bomb if the Earth hands over the Flash, whom they should’ve just teleported away at the end of part one.

I now ship Caitlin (who really needs psychiatric help for that dissociative Killer Frost identity she’s been manifesting) with Julian so she can get the hat trick for doomed boyfriends. https://mattthecatania.wordpress.com/20 ... n-already/

She doesn't need a psychiatrist. She has the healing powers of the love of her friends and family!

Watching season 2 on netflix.

It occurs to me that these are the most unbelievably emotionally articulate and emotionally available people I've ever seen. They are incredibly good at knowing anf talking about their feelings.

Of the four CW-DC shows, this one is the most soap-opera. A whole lot of emoting and family drama.

BTW, surprised nobody seems to be watching the CW Vixen cartoon.
