I have to say, I haven't watched an episode since maybe the third or fourth, but I'm enjoying your commentary more than I did the series itself.

Barbara & the Ogre still have better chemistry than the leads of Twilight & 50 Shades of Grey.

We're finally getting a live action Azrael? Maybe they did read my recommendations.

I'm glad to see they've ramped up the camp.
Sometimes I get Erin Richards & Alice Eve confused.
"Don't you speak French at me!"
Did Penguin forget about Miriam Loeb?
Black Mask Sr.'s anecdote about polo ponies was cute.
I agree with Bullock that not being GCPD is a wise decision.

Apparently Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are expecting a child together. I wonder if they'll work that into the show (Leslie being the future Batgirl's mother perhaps)?

Today I learned Ben McKenzie voiced Batman in the Year One cartoon movie.

I gave up on this show about 3 episodes in, but I think with the entire season being done and season 2 on the horizon I may try and give it another shot by watching it all in one. Maybe it'll be like comics that are better read as trades than single issues.

Hers is an evil laugh. Making Barbara a villainess is a huge improvement. The showrunners must've seen Erin Richards's episode of Misfits halfway through season 1 & realized she does excellent psychopath.

Riddle me this: Why does Edward Nygma have a dissasociative identity when Harvey Dent is already a recurring character?

I really liked the season one thread that anybody could potentially become the Joker, so I was disappointed they changed their minds & declared it was Jerome. In this episode, however, he really grew on me like lichen.

Wow, the GCPD is more useless than a cheesecloth condom.

Leslie & Alfred are my OTP.
Any episode that opens with double defenestration is a good one.
Why can't Barbara see that Jim is too boring for her?

I picked a Selina Kyle (Gotham) action figure up at a comic shop an hour away after asking the owner to get me one with better paint from the back. Then I found out DST will release the to TRU without the dioramas like they did for Universal Monsters. I don't plan on getting the other figures to complete the diorama & space is at a premium, so should I return it in favor of getting the TRU version? Or should I just keep the one I already bought?

This Firefly is already better than the one from (Green) Arrow, but why didn't they name her something close to Garfield Lynns?
We got a criminal Costco, our first real costumed supervillain(ess), & the Order of St. Dumas all in one episode!

The show has been better this season, but each episode there is at least one thing that will irk me. This time it was the "Merc Wal-Mart". So dumb. I know Batman can be a little campy at times, but lets tone it down to a reasonable level.

Firefly single-handedly took out a sex slavery den, making her the most heroic person in Gotham.

Lucius Fox: "Hey, guys, I'm still on this show! Guys? Where'd everybody go?"

Alfred got tazed ... which seems to have cured his wounds.

"Dolphins are psychic."
"No they're not."
"Yes they are."
"No they just have sonar."
"Dolphins used sonar to see into my mind because they're psychic!"
"DOPHINS ARE NOT PSYCHIC!"

No Azrael costume? BOO!!!

So I just caught up on this show. Someone please explain something to me, it seemed like the reason Galavan's sister betrayed him was she was tired of watching him mistreat Silver. But then she went and pushed Silver out the window! Which royally pissed me off by the way...

Why the hell did she do that? Or why did she betray her brother?

Tabitha betrays her brother because he doesn't treat her as an equal. He threatened to kill her after she sicced assassins on Gordon to avenge Barbara if she ever defied his orders again. This made her realize that his masterplan was completely selfish & he was treating her like a mere lackey. His plans were needlessly biased against the Dumas women as there was no reason to keep Gordon alive or to threaten Silver. By giving Silver his parachute, she keeps her from being arrested as an accessory & screws him over to take the fall he deserves. Unexpectedly parachuting into a busy city is dangerous of course, but Gotham's not really concerned with how the real world works.
