Persona 3 and Persona 5 are the only games in the series I ever played. I never finished 3, but what I played of it was fantastic. I'll probably never play 4 because it didn't come to PS3, even though it came out 2 years after the system's launch, and I'd moved on from PS2 games at the time.

Disgaea is a tactical RPG. I don't play tactical games because I am not a tactical person.

That feels like throwing tactical shade, so I beg to differ.

I’m just kidding, obviously, you know I love you dearly ❤️

only tactical RPGs I've played is Fire Emblem: Awakening and PxZ 1 and 2. Only played the one Shin Megami and I found the story kind of awkward.

I've recently been volunteering with a local organisation that helps find homes for abandoned cats and dogs. Mostly I've just been volunteering my time helping with the adoption days, but my wife and I have recently put our hands up to take things to the next level and foster a cat, while we try to find it a home.

Our first kitten is coming this week. She's had a rough start to life, suffering some sort of injury to her spine. It doesn't look like it caused any permanent damage though as she's apparently had surgery and as recovering well. We have to keep her caged and keep and eye on her while she recovers. I'm so nervous we're going to stuff up our first foster.

But what are we going to name her? It's a bit of a responsibility as the name has to capture the imagination of potential adopters and not alienate them. But at the same time it likely won't be her name forever so we can have some fun with it.

Do you folks have any suggestions? I've tried to attach a photo. She's an interesting creamy gold colour. Comic themed names are certainly encouraged :D

Aw! Fluff ball!

So you need to call her Drax the Destroyer

Yeah she's gorgeous. I hope we get her. There's been a couple potential foster cats come up that have fallen through.

I hadn't thought of Dazzles, that's a good one.

Lol I wish I could say that would be an ironic name but kittens and puppies do have a tendency to destroy stuff lol.

I got lucky when I adopted my dog. He HATES mess and isn’t really destructive...

... although he DOES love rolling in fox poop. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Our first kitten wasn't particularly destructive either, though she did love to pull all the tissues out off the box and build herself nests. She also stole my socks to build nests too.

Going with the Dazzler idea, how about calling her "Blaire" ?

Nice nice! But sadly my Mrs isn't sold. I even tried to make it look better by suggesting "Goldie Pawn" as an alternative option

Two more suggestions:
- going by the color alone, you could simply name her "Bailey" or "Irish Cream", though those would be better suited for a male cat.

- a different, more serious approach would be to find something uniquely fitting to her, based on her personality or still brief history, like survving that spine injury. The most promiment and inspiring person with a similar history that I know of is singer Gloria Estefan. She had a severe bus accident while being on tour in 1990, and an apparently very serious though not live-threatening back injury, with broken vertebrae. At the time it wasn't clear if or in what way she would be able to perform again, but she managed to pull through a long and painful recovery and was back on stage a year afterwards. 30 years later, and she is still doing fine. You can read about it here:
https://www.brainandlife.org/articles/s ... o-perform/
So, based on that, you could name her Gloria or maybe Tierra, as "Mi Tierra" (my homeland) is Gloria Estfans's first Grammy winning single, which she released a couple of years after that spine injury.

I have a silly cat and I was going to name her Goofy, but decided on Daisy instead. Something simple like that could work.

All excellent suggestions folks. I'm picking her up today from the vet. I'm holding off a name decision until we meet her and get a feel for personality. So far we're fond of names based on her colour like Butterscotch, Honey (or Honeyjoy), Biscuit, Crumpet etc...or maybe I'm just hungry?

@Lavette - I love your Gloria Estefan name reasoning. That's well thought out

I'm personally a fan of the classics. Name her "cat." No capitalizing the C. Just leave it as it is.

Ok, so I picked the kitty up today. I accidentally named her Crumpet, which is ok because she's a gorgeous golden colour. I rattled off the various names my wife and I had discussed to the vet and the foster manager. Both got very enthusiastic for Crumpet so it stuck lol.

She's absolutely gorgeous and super sweet. It's gonna be hard to give her away. My wife is already keeping her distance so she doesn't get too attached

Thats a beautifil cat, congratulations.

So, equal marriage was aproved here in Ecuador last week and im extremely happy, although its been met with some resistance, but still, we are gonna continue fighting to protect the rigths we've won, because, and i dont mean to be shady at all, looking at the US its clear that no matter how much forward thinking a country might appear, it can regress easily when you give the people that not agree with that, a platform.

Also, i cant believe that in my Facebook page, the ones that are most against equal marriage, and are talking about going to marches to "protect family", and they are actually women i know from work who have cheated ont their husbands and did not care at all about who knew.
