I miss Sacrificial Saturday. In one summer I got rid of all my jerk-off co-workers.... I mean watched them relocate to other undesignated stores. That was it.

Speaking of witches, my wife and I almost went to Salem last October but we were concerned it might be more cheesy and touristy than actually cool and historical. Has anyone been and can confirm one way or the other?

Oh, it's easily both. You can go and do the kitschy touristy thing and you can do the cool historical stuff too.

It's the lady of the house's seventh birthday! Now I can't get the scent of catnip out of my nostrils.
Either the lady of the house is a cat or your daughter likes strange herbs
Don’t you judge his seven year old daughter’s interest in herb craft. She’s clearly aspiring to join my coven of dark witches and take over the world, and can you blame her?
I will send my furry daughter across the big blue wet thing to begin her tutelage with all deliberate speed.

This sounds like the plot of a dope ass Anime
Morrison Era 2001-2005, Decimation Era from 2005-2012, Bendis Era 2012-2016, M-Pox era 2016-2017, and Resurrxion 2017-2019, Hickman Era 2019-?

Let me tell you a story about me and anime. No.

I’ve always been really daunted by the idea of starting a series because LORD they are LONG, and by all accounts usually take a while to get into them. So, an ex housemate of mine told me to try one, and I was really enjoying it...

AND THEN IT ONLY LASTED TWELVE EPISODES AND ENDSD ON A CLIFFHANGER AND I SWORE VENGEANCE ON ALL KF THE ANIMATED SERIALS THAT ARE JAPANESE IN ORIGIN.

Except for Akira, because I can relate.

I generally prefer the 24/25 ep animes. Just long enough to get to the end of a good story arc but short enough you can binge it over a few nights and move on.

Animes don’t move fast enough, so I read manga. And I need the long ones...I’ve read 148 chapters of Fire Force in like 4 days lol. And when I’m bored, I re-read One Piece from the beginning (my favorite manga).

Probably going to start Demon Slayer once I catch up on fire force

I have a hard enough time reading comics so manga is pretty much right out. 99% of anime is watched on my second monitor while I'm playing WoW or something. Fire Force is straight...fire though.

The only animes I've ever watched are the original Toonami ones. Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Inuyasha, Gundam Wing.

My sister and I have been making our way through Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood together. I paused my first watch of Buffy to go back to the beginning again and watch it with her, so we're alternating between that and Fullmetal when we want to watch something together.

I'm an extremely lazy person when it comes to media. Unless I love something I'll pretty much never watch it again. I can name like 4 movies off the top of my head I've seen more than once. Like 2 I've seen more than 3 times. The magic wears off really quickly for me and I don't have much interest in going back again.

The same can pretty much be said for comics and traditional books. Though, mercifully, with books I can grab an audiobook and go through it again in the background.

I re-watch everything over and over. I have yearly tradition movies lol

Manga yes, long series can be excellent. But TV version, unless it is a really strong series with few weak arcs, I like it shorter. Bleach had some awful filler arcs. One Piece, I'm sorry but that draaaaaags in anime form. Too many flashbacks and long recap segments that just pad time. Manga only for that one.

I have some yearly tradition movies too.

Will watch all of the BTTF series at least twice a year, BTTF2 much more.
Also try and get in Forrest Gump and Pleasantville in most years.
Then pretty much from Dec 1st, we're in Christmas movie mode (Home Alone, Polar Express, Elf, Christmas with the Kranks, and of course, Muppets Christmas Carol get played, alongside whatever else we've got on the Christmas pile for that year).
Also have some yearly films that are mainly my gfs, but have got stuck into that routine... Marley and Me and a few Disney films are on this list.

I go into Humbug mode November 3rd. I have a near Pavlovian negative response to sleigh bells.

It's got to be Pryde.

Probably tied to a burning stake, but still reckon it's Kitty, nonetheless.

Also... you're both total Scrooges. Just sayin'.

Don't hate-ink. Hate-ink-ing is bad mmmkay. I'm guessing Threnody so you can channel her power and control zombies to do all the heavy lifting for you.
